The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is pleased to be able to
introduce our research tools to the Japanese research community in
collaboration with Pfizer.
In the United States, licensing of research tools is very widespread.
In 1999, the NIH established Guidelines to encourage broad access to
results from NIH-funded research.
The research tools included in Research Tool Web can be licensed non-exclusively,
based on these NIH Guidelines.
If you are interested in licensing a particular tool, please contact
NIH directly using the email address provided on this site.
I hope that Research Tool Web site contributes to the research efforts
taking place worldwide at universities and corporations.
